Marble Dining Salon
Floor, furniture, and light composed as one.
A private dining salon shaped around stone: a book-matched marble floor with an expressive central field, complemented by bespoke round dining tables edged in warm brass.
The residence already carried strong decorative architecture, arched glazing, and intricate metalwork. The stone scheme needed equal presence without adding visual noise, so the floor became the room's anchor and the furniture its quieter echo.
Vein direction and tonal variation were planned across the central field before installation. The surrounding slabs were kept calmer, creating a border that frames the expressive stone like an artwork and holds the room's symmetry.
Bespoke circular marble tops bring the floor's pale mineral tones up into the dining setting. Fine brass edging connects them to the chairs and decorative details, allowing every element to feel considered as part of one interior.
